Hennessey Venom F5

Established in 2017, the American vehicle-manufacturing company Hennessey Special Vehicles developed a car known as the Venom F5, contracted with Delta Motorsport of Silverstone. Supposed to be the company’s first all-new proprietary vehicle accredited titled manufacturer. Also, Delta Motorsport has produced all the previous Venom GT car generations. According to the sources, we know that the Venom F5 will be fast – but the focus is on luxury, not record-chasing. According to the Motor 1 and HPE officials’ reports, around 24 models are going into the production line.

The names Hennessey and Venom may sound familiar. However, the Venom F5 is still a different car than the Venom GT, and it’s manufactured by a new company known as the Hennessey Special Vehicles (HSV), a separate company from Hennessey Performance Engineering’s modification business.

How fast is a Venom F5?

The Venom F5 hit a maximum speed of 271.6 mph or 437 km/h.

How is Hennessey Venom F5 not hurrying to break the speed records?

Despite having incredible speed, Hennessey is still not in a hurry to break the speed records with Venom F5. The reason must be that they primarily want to focus on luxury and anything else. John Hennessey opened up about the Venom F5 in an interview with “Top Gear.” He stated that the top speed becomes relevant in case of competition or rivalry. He also suggests that setting speed records is not the company’s primary goal.

Specifications

Fitted with a twin-turbocharged 6.6L or liter V8 Twin-Turbo Fury Rear Mid Mounted engine, Venom F5 produces about 1,817HP or horsepower and 1,617 Nm of torque. The power gets transmitted to the rear axle through a seven-speed semi-automatic gearbox. It can reach from 0-62mph or 0-100km/h within 3 seconds and a speed of 124mph or 200km/h in just 5 seconds.

Since the rear-wheel drive produces 1,817 HP and weighs around 1,360 kg or 2,998 pounds, these facts combine to deliver a power-to-weight ratio of 1.34 hp-per-kg.

Hennessey and their team have developed a completely new design, new chassis, and carbon fiber body focused on aerodynamics to achieve the lowest possible drag. The aerodynamically shaped exterior of the F5 got in shape after getting inspired by the pursuit of speed. The entire car exudes purpose, determination, and drama from every direction with the aerodynamic ducting and sharp, powerful lines to give the car a real sense of speed and intent, even while stationary.

The Venom F5’s development makes the driver feel perfectly in tune with the car while delivering exhilaration. The result will also produce a vehicle that inspires driving comfort at all speeds with a race car’s accuracy.

The Venom F5 Will Be Fast – But the Focus is on Luxury, Not Record-Chasing

The news has been spread everywhere that makers of Venom F5 will focus on luxury more than any record-chasings. There is a good reason behind it. Almost every luxury car fan wants to buy a fast car that can give the driver a thrilling experience. But, the vital factor must be reminded that luxury, safety, and driving comfort are valued. This might be why the company doesn’t want to compromise the comfort and luxury of the car, so they prioritize luxury over the records.

About Record Chase

It is undoubtedly a high-speed car, but they do not want to compete here.
