LaFerrari Aperta (2017) – $4.7 Million

The model stands at nine among the top ten most expensive Ferraris. It has around 499 units and is the first hybrid vehicle manufactured by Ferrari as it has a detachable hardtop & canvas top. This model became an instant hit when launched in the luxury car market. LaFerrari’s worth is $4.7 million.

Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider Competizione (1959) – $18.1 Million

One of the most popular classic Ferrari models hits number 8 on the top ten most expensive Ferraris list. The only LWB California Spider Car made of an aluminum body along with the headlights covered is Ferrari 250 GT. This car has a power of a 2,953CC SOHC Type 168 V-12 engine. This powerful engine produces 275bhp at 7,000 rpm or revolutions per minute.

Ferrari 375+ Spider Competizione (1954) – $18.4 Million

Also known as Ferrari 375MM, it is one of the most expensive race cars in the world. MM stands for Mille Miglia race. The model got “375” for the per-cylinder displacement in a 4.5L V12 engine based on Ferrari 375 F1. Moreover, the buyer bought the car for $18.4 million at the Bonhams auction house.

Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale (1964) – $26.4 Million

Sixth in the top ten most expensive Ferraris list, the model’s worth is $26.4 million. With a horsepower of 320, it has a Type 213/Comp 3,286 lightweight block V-12 engine with six weber 38 DCN carburetors. It is the first of only three models ever built. It has an independent rear suspension and transaxle gearbox and was the first Ferrari to have these features.

Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spider (1967) – $27.5 Million

This model is also one of the rarest and most valuable, just like the 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale. NART stands for the North American Racing Team, and they build only ten units of this model. This model contains a 3.3L 4-cam V12 engine producing 220kW with a top speed of 162mph. The engine produces 296-300HP or horsepower. It can go 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds.

This 1967 Spider model was sold at auction in 2013 for $27.5 Million.

Ferrari 290MM Scaglietti Spider (1956) – $28 Million

The 1956 Ferrari 290MM Scaglietti Spider was sold for $28 Million in 2015 at Sotheby’s auction as the car was manufactured in Juan Manuel Fangio’s honor for the 1956 Mille Miglia Race. It is a vintage Ferrari car and one of the only four models. It contains a 3.5L V12 engine with a top speed of 174mph, and it can reach from 0-60mph in less than 5 seconds.

Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti (1957) – $35 Million

This car is the third of the top ten most expensive Ferraris sold at $35 Million. Along with a tag of an expensive vehicle, it is also unique as there are just four models ever made. The buyer bought it at an auction in 2016. It was developed in 1957 primarily to compete with the then Maserati 450S.

The model has a 4.1L V12 engine that produces 390HP or horsepower with a top speed of 190mph or 300kmph. It is one of the most famous Ferraris in terms of looks.

Ferrari 250 GTO (1962) – $39.6-$48.4 Million

One of the most expensive Ferraris ever sold. According to car experts, the most significant Ferrari of all time is the GTO model, as these models are most desired. Ferrari built only 36 units of GTOs between 1962 and 1964. These GTO models contain a Custom-built Tipo 168/62 Colombo V12 engine.

Ferrari 250 GTO (1963) – $52-$70 Million

The model is ranked first in the world’s top ten most expensive Ferraris list, and the car is also one of the most popular even today. David MacNeil, WeatherTech CEO, bought this Race model in a private sale for $70 Million. Also, there is a record of this car that it never met with an accident and was always in good condition. This car won the Tour De France in 1964, which is why it is expensive.
