Lamborghini Esperienza Giro China Sets a New Record

The five-day Lamborghini Esperienza Giro China event was just completed by Lamborghini owners, who traveled more than 680 miles. The Italian automaker’s longest event was a journey from Yangshuo to the border town of Chongzuo, which was themed a “Journey of Reawakening.” 42 vehicles in total, including full-display versions of the Huracan, Aventador, and Urus models, participated in the journey.

The Italian manufacturer anticipates the expansion of the exclusive event, which was held for the eighth time in a row. In their travels along China’s Route 66, the super sports cars and SUVs could see fields, deserts, and small towns. With the help of its “Sand” mode and the Terra mode, which relied on active torque vectoring, the Urus could demonstrate its full potential. It allowed drivers to navigate slippery mud easily.

The classic pictures that come to mind when we think about Lamborghini are those of high-revving engines, snarling, blazing exhausts, smoking tires, and massive accelerations over a wide range of speeds. The Italian supercar manufacturer can also be portrayed in vibrant hues that evoke harmony, continuous tranquillity, and breathtaking sceneries that gently vibrate silence and deep contemplation.

“With a 1,100-kilometer journey, we broke the previous mileage record for the eighth consecutive year of the Lamborghini Esperienza Giro China,” remarked Automobili Lamborghini Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao Managing Director Konstantin Sychev. As the company’s most recognizable yearly event, it offers Chinese consumers a lifestyle experience that includes incredible driving passion.

During the five-day trip, a fleet of 40 Lamborghini super sports cars and super SUVs left Yangshuo and travelled through an immersing karst landscape that exuded the unrivalled charm of China, until they reached Chongzuo, a paradise near the southwest border. The guests appreciated an unexpected Italian experience in this exquisite blend of nature and modernity.

They engaged in the Italian route Ferrata, climbing at the top of karst rocks, taking courageous steps, and thoroughly embracing the country’s pure spirit of adventure. They experienced the most genuine Lamborghini driving enjoyment while travelling across various landscapes and varying road conditions on and off-road.

The super SUV Urus carved its way through unusual sugarcane plantations as it travelled deep into Chongzuo, displaying impressive off-road skills. The Urus’ active torque vectoring made it possible for pilots to move through slick mud with minimal hesitation while in Terra mode, perfectly capturing the Urus’ brave nature and capacity to tackle any terrain.

The Huracan STO, the brand’s most track-prone road-legal model, coexisted with more tradition-respecting Lamborghinis in the lineup, along with the well-liked Urus, which the Italians like to refer to as their “super SUV.” The STO is becoming increasingly popular in the Chinese market, but not for its peaceful grand touring qualities; rather, it is valued for its race-pace thrills and excitement.

While driving in an unfamiliar environment, this Huracan chose not to flaunt its 5.2-litre V10 at anyone. Surprisingly, the trip wasn’t about the vehicles but the journey, with visitors participating in more familiar activities like rock climbing and laser shows at night parties. Nevertheless, the attendants received specific drive testing samples from the Giro China trip.
